It takes more to make a meal than a few heaping platters of food. Theres the good conversation that accompanies any social event. The memories of days gone by that come to mind. And the pleasure of new memories created in the moment together.
Join me for my next edition of Dinner Party, and you and I will enjoy our Saturday evening in the company of Steely Dan, The Crusaders, Sergio Mendes, and Ramsey Lewis. Although there are no plates of food to be passed or bottles of wine to be poured when Im on the air, I like to think our four hours together bears all the other hallmarks of a good gathering with friends.
