Join Chicago State University for Jazz on the Grazz! Saxophonist Audley Reid will kick off the event on Wednesday, July 28 from 5- 8 p.m. in the Douglas Hall Amphitheatre on the Chicago State University campus, 9501 S. King Drive. This event is free and open to the public. Concessions will be available. Parking fee is $5.00. This is a community wide event that will take place every Wednesday through September 1, 2010. Other featured bands include Delivery Point Jazz Band on August 4, Mike & Company Blues Company Band on August 11, the Carlos Cannon Band on August 18 and a host of other musicians and local artists. You do not want to miss this showcase of local artists performing their best music in Jazz, Blues and light R&B.
